At a crucial stage of the economic crisis and European integration, Pope Benedict XVI's encyclical is of particular importance as it is dedicated to humanity and it is about humanity.
"For us in the European People's Party who deeply believe in European and Christian values, the Caritas in Veritate encyclical letter helps us to reflect on our identity and our future challenges.
